The Tire Industry Association (TIA) board of directors has elected Tom Formanek to board treasurer and Mike Berra Jr. to secretary. Both will assume their new roles in November.
Formanek, who is the manager of tire service products for Stellar Industries Inc., has been a TIA board member since 2002.
Berra, vice president of Community Tire Retreading in Maryland Heights, Mo., also has been a TIA board member since 2002. In addition, he currently serves as president of the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau.
"TIA is fortunate to be able to tap Tom Formanek and Mike Berra for these leadership positions in our organization," says TIA President Peggy Fisher.
