Alliance contest winners go to Daytona

Oct. 25, 2013

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance (Alliance) has awarded trips for a weekend of racing to eight technicians who entered the “Drive To Daytona” promotion at the organization’s Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper stores. The sweepstakes continues through Nov. 2013.

Alliance says that each month from September through November, eight technicians will win an all-inclusive trip for two to a full weekend of racing at Daytona International Speedwayfor the Budweiser Speedweek 2014 event and tickets to all three races. Three of the 24 trip winners will receive a key at Daytona that gives them a chance to win a 2014 Corvette Stingray.

Additionally, during the three month promotional period, one Mustang GT will be given away each month to qualifying technicians. Plus, each month 50 participating technicians will receive a variety of consumer electronic prizes.

“Based on the overwhelming response to our Big Game Sweepstakes last year, we felt like we needed to come back with something at least as big," says Dan Williford, marketing director.
