Titan International Inc. will begin manufacturing its new 63-inch radial OTR tire after July 7. The tire will be built at Titan's plant in Bryan, Ohio.
"We think as production moves forward, we should continue to find more ways to improve these giant tires," says Titan CEO and Chairman Morry Taylor.
The first 12 sets of the 63-inch tire will be shipped to Canada’s tar sands later this month, according to Titan officials.
"It is Titan’s goal to ship a minimum of 900 giant 63-inch tires before year-end.”
