Toyo expands SEMA presence with 'Treadpass'

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. says it will have a bigger presence than ever before when the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show opens on Nov. 5 in Las Vegas.

Attendees will see Toyo exhibits throughout the show including on the first floor of the South Hall; in the popular DUB Live area located in the parking lot outside the South Hall; and in Toyo Tires Treadpass, the new passageway connecting the Central and South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Booth and feature vehicles will also don Toyo tires throughout the show.

The main Toyo exhibit in the South Hall will feature the trophy truck of desert off-road champion and Team Toyo driver BJ Baldwin flying over a Nissan GT-R. The scene is a life-size reenactment of the memorable scene in #RECOIL, the popular video that features Baldwin soaring high over model Janey Lee as she stands next to a Nissan GT-R.

Both Baldwin and Janey Lee will be available during the week, meeting fans and signing autographs. Also on display will be the full line of Toyo light truck and passenger car products, with the Toyo Tires iPad App so attendees can learn even more without waiting. The booth will be filled with unique vehicles.

Show attendees crossing between the rear of the Central and South Halls of the Convention Center will walk through the new Toyo Tires Treadpass. This expansive area will feature more than 20 customized cars, trucks and even big rigs.

All will be equipped with Proxes, Open Country and commercial tires that represent the broad line of Toyo Tires products. The Treadpass will also be home to a commercial tire display with the Toyo Tires Commercial iPad App available for use.

In addition, a recharge station will give visitors a place to recharge their electronic devices and rest their knees, with beverages provided.
