Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Hal Gardner vice president of marketing for its North American Tire division.
Gardner most recently served as vice president of marketing and a corporate officer for Therma-Tru Corporation in Maumee, Ohio.
“We are excited to find a person with Hal's qualifications to lead our marketing group," says Phil Caris, Cooper's vice president of sales and marketing.
"In our challenging industry, we need to have the best marketing insight and focus to design and execute programs to help position our products effectively, provide the structure to sell at profitable levels, and continue to build relationships with our dealers."
