Discount Tire Co. has opened a new store in Laredo, Texas. The company now has 225 stores in Texas.
The Laredo store is operated by 15 employees. The store manager is Michael Castillo, who has worked for Discount Tire for 14 years.
The company does business under the trade name Discount Tire in most of the U.S. and America’s Tire in Oregon, and parts of Washington and California.
In June, Discount Tire expanded its operations to 26 states with the opening of two stores in Missouri. The company ranks No. 1 on the 2013 Modern Tire Dealer 100 with 870 retail stores.
