Falken Tire joins forces with GenRight Off Road for 2014

Aug. 27, 2013

Falken Tire, a manufacturer of high performance on- and off-road tires, continues to expand its participation in off-road motorsports through its new partnership with GenRight Off Road.  The collaboration will start with next year’s King of the Hammers (KOH) race in California.

GenRight Off Road was founded by Tony Pellegrino as a designer, manufacturer and distributor of off-road parts and other Jeep products.  Pellegrino can be frequently seen out on the trail or at 42 different off-road events he travels to across the country each year. His passion for off-roading plays a key role in product development and the direction of the company. After growing up riding and racing motocross, he decided to make the transition to Ultra4 Racing, beginning with his debut in the 2010 KOH where he placed a respectable 14th. The following year, he finished second.  Pellegrino is an active member of SEMA, Cal4 Wheel, CORVA and the Blue Ribbon Coalition and is also active with the environmental battle to save the land.

“This will be an important, strategic partnership with GenRight and Tony for 2014,” stated Nestor Cabrera, Falken Tire’s Off-Road Supervisor.  “Together, in addition to KOH, we will be collaborating at a number of other events, including Tierra Del Sol, Easter Jeep Safari and Jeep Beach, to name a few.”

"We are very excited to join forces with a customer-focused company like Falken Tire,” said Pellegrino. “Falken Tire’s entire race program has an amazing legacy, and we look forward to increasing the brand’s off-road successes.”

"Off-road racing continues to attract global attention and corporate participation, and Falken intends to play a bigger role within it,” added Nick Fousekis, Falken Director of Motorsports Marketing and Consumer Events.  “Our partnership with GenRight is proof of that commitment.”
