Pirelli, Make-A-Wish team up for children

To kick off its third consumer rebate of 2013, Pirelli Tire North America Inc. is partnering with the Make-A-Wish® to help make wishes come true for children and their families around the country.

Now through Sept, 30, consumers can receive up to $70 back with the purchase of qualifying tires and Pirelli will donate $5 to Make-A-Wish for each rebate submission. Customers will also have the option to donate the total value of the rebate in their mail-in submission.

Pirelli says this is the largest rebate program to date, with no pre-determined limit on the amount to be donated to Make-A-Wish, which will also be supporting the partnership through its 62 local chapters. Increased rebate submissions in specific markets will result in a greater allocation of raised funds to those chapters.

Each year, over 27,000 children are diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. Make-A-Wish works to grant their wishes in an effort to “enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.” In 2012, the organization granted over 14,000 wishes to children around the world.
