Continental Tire the Americas LLC announced that the Continental ProContact TX has been chosen as the standard OE fitment on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited Edition.
Chrysler approved the fitment in size 225/55 R 18 for the 4X2 models, and in size 225/60 R 18 for the 4X4 versions, which will appear on showroom floors in the third quarter of 2013. The ProContact TX provides performance, comfort and confidence, says Continental.
The ProContact TX is a touring performance, all-season tire designed for comfort and handling. The low-density undertread compound ensures that impacts and road vibrations are absorbed for a smooth ride.
The balanced sipe-to-block ratio makes for excellent all-weather grip and handling while the blocking rib on the shoulder block reduces noise by keeping it contained to the tread area.
