Charlotte, N.C., will be the epicenter of tire technology from Oct. 28-30, 2013. That's when Smithers Rapra Inc. will host its first Future of Tire Technology conference and exhibition.

The three-day event will be held at the Omni Hotel. All the sessions will center around how tire companies, suppliers and OEMs can balance innovation, regulatory requirements and cost concerns with consumer perception and actions.

There are three sessions each of the first two days an one on the third day.
