Autodata updates reset manual

Aug. 5, 2013

Autodata Publications Inc. has updated its Maintenance Reminder Reset Procedures manual for 2013. The manual guides technicians through the steps required to reset vehicle maintenance reminder alerts.

Autodata says the use of its technical information can help safeguard against costly and unnecessary repeat visits to the workshop because jobs are completed correctly the first time.

The manual covers thousands of domestic and import vehicles built between 2002 and 2013. It contains vehicle-specific, step-by-step instructions and clear illustrations to ensure an accurate job, according to the company.

Sharon Kellogg, managing director of Autodata U.S., says, “The latest update is a big step forward for this manual and has resulted in a product which includes even more information, while being as user-friendly as possible.”

The manual is part of a series on subjects including Battery Replacement Reset Procedures, Timing Belts, Timing Chains and Gears and Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

The new edition of the reset procedures manual is available now. For more informaton, contact an automotive tool distributor, Autodata by phone at (800) 305-0338 or email at [email protected].
