Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd.'s board of directors has decided to make a number of changes in the responsibilities of senior management.
The following changes will become effective as of July 1, 2013.
Director (current position)
1. Tooru Kobayashi will add overseeing the company's Legal Department to his current responsibilities: director and executive vice president in charge of the Corporate Planning Dept., Secretariat, GD100 Promotion Dept. and Global HR Dept.; president of Multiple Business, president of Yokohama Business Association Corp.
2. Shigetoshi Kondo is a corporate officer and head of the Tire Logistics Division and Tire Distribution Control Dept. His former responsibilities included being president of Hamagomu Logistics Co. Ltd.
3. Koichi Tsuruno remains a corporate officer, and has been named president of Yokohama Tire Manufacturing (Thailand) Co. Ltd. He formerly was head of the Global HR Dept., president of Yokohama Pier Support Co. Ltd. and director of Yokohama Business Association Corp.
