Goodyear patches pipeline to investors

June 21, 2013

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has increased the responsibilities of Damon Audia, its senior vice president of business development, at least on an interim basis.

Audia will assume interim responsibility for investor relations. He takes over for Gregory Fritz, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

He will continue to report to Darren Wells, executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Audia joined Goodyear in 2004 and became an officer of the company in 2005. He was named senior vice president of finance and treasurer in 2008.

From 2010-12, he served as senior vice president of finance for the Asia Pacific region. He was named to his current position as senior vice president of business development in July 2012.

Goodyear says it will name a new head of investor relations at a future date.
