Robert Bosch LLC has received the Silver President’s Award for Catalog Excellence from the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA). Bosch was recognized in the Mobile Web category for its North American Vehicle Part Finder Mobile App.
The Bosch Part Finder App contains application information for 12 Bosch product lines, ranging from the current vehicle model year back to 1950. Products include alternators, spark plugs, wiper blades, oxygen sensors, fuel pumps, air management sensors, glow plugs, injectors, water pumps, starters, ignition coils, and battery chargers.
Additional product lines are planned for release. The company says the app contains a host of details, including color pictures.
Bosch developed the app in-house and launched it in April 2012. Users can search for part information manually or enter or scan in a VIN.
“With our North American Part Finder Mobile App, technicians and do-it-yourself customers can have access to all this information at their fingertips,” says Michael Stoll, director of the Bosch marketing data management team.
The Bosch Part Finder Mobile App is available on both Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
