Turkish tire manufacturer Petlas Tire Corp. has appointed Rami Bitran as the company’s new manager of its North American team. Bitran will be located at the company’s Akron, Ohio, office.
In his new role, Bitran will be responsible for developing Petlas agriculture, off-the-road, passenger and truck tires in the Americas, including Canada, the U.S. and Central and South America.
Bitran has 20 years of experience in the farm tire industry and most recently served as general manager at BKT (USA) Inc.
Petlas Tire Corp. was founded in 1976 and offers a full line of tires for passenger, truck, light truck, 4x4, agricultural, OTR, industrial and aircraft tire products with a network of dealers worldwide.
