Balkrishna Industires Ltd. (BKT) has announced that it has completed the restructuring of its U.S. operations with the appointment of a new president of BKT Tires USA Inc., Carl Casalbore.
“He comes onboard with a rich experience of over 30 years in the tire industry,” says Arvind Poddar, BKT chairman and managing director.
He will be based out of BKT's Akron, Ohio office, and in his new role Casalbore will work closely with BKT’s home office in India to "ensure smooth functioning of the business."
Casalbore most recently served at Zafco Trading LLC as vice president of sales at Zafco’s U.S. subsidiary. He has also served as Barron's Wholesale Tire Inc.'s vice president of sales and marketing, and as director of passenger and light truck dealer sales, United States and Canada at Continental Tire North America Inc.
