The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has added a tour date in Pittsburgh to its 2013 Certified Automotive Training Service (ATS) Instructor Training Tour.
The latest tour spot will take place June 25-28, 2013, at the Community College of Allegheny County, West Hills Center, 1000 McKee Road in Oakdale, Pa.
Confirmed dates for the tour include:
April 30-May 3 - Los Angeles
June 25-28 - Pittsburgh
May 7-10 - Boston
May 21-24 - Toledo, Ohio
July 9-11 - Seattle
Nov. 12-15 - Jacksonville, Fla.
Nov. 12-15 – Houston
The Certified ATS Instructor Program is a four-day in-depth classroom and hands-on class that industry professionals must successfully complete in order to return to the dealership(s) to train technicians to prepare them for certification. TIA has used the train-the-trainer approach to train and/or certify more than 70,000 technicians since 1997.
