Flynn’s says thank you with trip to Ireland

April 15, 2013

Flynn’s Tire Wholesale, a division of Hermitage, Pa.-based Flynn’s Tire Company, hosted more than 100 qualifying dealers, key suppliers, and employees, along with their guests, on a trip to Dublin, Ireland, in early April as part of its Gold Standard incentive travel program.

The Dublin trip is the company's third international excursion. Previous incentive trips were to Punta Cana in 2012 and Puerto Vallarta in 2011. The 2013 trip was especially meaningful for the company as Ireland is the birthplace of John J. Flynn, who founded Flynn’s Tire Company nearly 50 years ago.

“Every day we put forth every effort we can to ensure outstanding customer service for our customers and show them how much we truly appreciate their choice of Flynn’s. It’s great to be able to provide the annual Gold Standard trip for our dealers and associates, not only to show our appreciation but also to provide them with a fun and entertaining escape,” says Joe Flynn III, president.

Established in 1964, Flynn's Tire Company is a major regional tire wholesaler operated by the Flynn family. Growing from a single location in Mercer, Pa., the company has 27 locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.  Flynn's operates four warehouses and is a distributor of most major brands to tire retailers, service stations, and auto dealers in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. Flynn’s Tire & Auto Service has 18 retail locations. Flynn’s also has four commercial tire locations and a retread plant.

Flynn’s Tire is tied for number 53 on the MTD 2012 Top 100 Tire Dealers in the U.S. For recent news about the company, see these links:
