April 8, 2013

Unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show, the newly redesigned 2014 Cadillac CTS sedan will be equipped with Pirelli Tire North America’s P Zero Nero and Cinturato P7 All Season tires.

The CTS V-Sport edition, equipped with the new Cadillac Twin Turbo V6 engine and the car’s highest performing options, will come equipped with P Zero tires on both the front and the rear.

“We’re proud to be the manufacturer of choice as Cadillac launches its most powerful edition of the CTS to date,” says Tom Gravalos, vice-president of marketing and original equipment for Pirelli Tire North America.

According to Cadillac, the twin-turbo V-6 will propel the redesigned, larger CTS sedan from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 170 mph.

“We have provided three fitments to correspond with the three engines available,” says Gravalos. “Pirelli’s ability to provide the technology required to allow car makers to get the best performance out of their cars is one of our trademark qualities.”

The base model CTS will ride on P245/40R18 93V r-f P Zero Nero All Season tires. Also available are 245/40R18 93Y r-f P Zero tires in the front and 275/35R18 95Y r-f P Zero tires in the rear. Pirelli is also offering a 19” upgrade on 255/35R19 96V XL r-f Cinturato P7 All Season tires.
