Pirelli fulfills new OE contract from Mexico

April 5, 2013

Pirelli Tire North America Inc. will begin supplying Ford Motor Co. with Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season tires for the new 2013 Lincoln MKZ this month. The tires are being manufactured at Pirelli's new factory in Silao, Mexico.

This marks the first original equipment shipment from the plant (Pirelli also produces OE tires at its Rome, Ga., facility).

“We are excited to continue expanding our relationship with Lincoln,” says Tom Gravalos, vice president of original equipment and marketing. “It is a tremendous honor to be an important part of the resurgence of this great American brand.”

Pirelli will supply both models of the redesigned Lincoln with size P245/40ZR19 98W XL P Zero Nero All Season tires. The Lincoln also is produced in Mexico.
