Bridgestone Corp. will shuffle a number of senior level executive positions at its Tokyo, Japan, office, effective July 1.
Yasumi Kawasaki will become vice president and senior officer, reponsible for quality management. Currently he is vice president/senior officer, production and distribution.
Takashi Urano will be promoted to vice president/senior officer, responsible for Bridgestone's International Tire Business Operations. Currently he serves as chairman, CEO and president of Bridgestone Europe.
Hideo Hara will be promoted to vice president and officer, Tire Products Strategy. He currently serves as vice president/officer, Original Equipment Tire Sales.
Akira Nozawa will assume the position of vice president and officer, chief information officer. Meanwhile, Kiyoshi Nomura will be promoted to vice president and officer, production and distribution.
Three new officers also will join Bridgestone's board on July 1.
