ASA Tire Systems says its TreadX Software has been integrated into Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s ADS credit card processing system.
The integration, "ADSLink," increases the efficiency of TreadX users who process Goodyear credit card transactions, say ASA officials.
"Users save time and reduce errors by eliminating the need for a secondary (credit card swiping machine) and the additional manual processes needed to settle credit card transactions.
"Now TreadX users can simply swipe the credit card at one time and the software transfers the credit card and authorization data directly to the point-of-sale screen."
