Brennan joins Falken as product strategist

"We are excited to welcome Rick Brennan to the Falken Tire family," says Andrew Hoit, Falken’s vice president of marketing. “Rick’s diverse industry background and over 40 years of experience will be a great compliment to our team."

Brennan, formerly vice president of marketing for Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc., joined Falken Tire Corp. as executive director of product strategy on March 1, 2013.

"He will play a key role in working closely with our Technical Group to monitor and drive our future product development needs as well as help to coordinate our go-to-market strategy for new and existing product lines,” adds Hoit.

Prior to joining Kumho in January 2002, he was director of marketing communications and strategic planning for Yokohama Tire Corp.

Falken, known for its ultra-high performance tires, has significantly increased its product portfolio in recent years. The expansion has included broad-line products such as:

* the high mileage, T-rated Sincera SN211 touring tire;

* the Wildpeak H/T and A/T light truck tires; and

* an associate brand, Ohtsu.

During this period, Falken says its market coverage has grown from 65% of the sizes in North America to more than 90%.

Falken backs its portfolio with an associate dealer program and "an industry-leading National Mail-in Consumer Rebate Program for both the United States and Canada.
