New Trelleborg farm tire coming to North America

Trelleborg Wheel Systems Americas Inc., the U.S. division of Trelleborg Wheel Systems SpA, expects its North American warehouses to receive the TM 3000, a new tire designed to promote efficient and sustainable farming, by the end of March 2013. The farm tire is being launched at the SIMA 2013 agricultural exhibition going on now in Paris, France.

Trelleborg is displaying its new IF 800/70R32 CFO TM3000, a new range that uses BlueTire Technology to provide farming professionals with improved performance while fully respecting the environment, according to the company.  Also on display is the IF 900/60R42 TM1000 High Power range, which also uses BlueTire Technology and already is available in North American markets.

Says Paolo Pompei, business unit president agricultural and forestry tires for Trelleborg Wheel Systems:  “By the end of the year, we plan to phase in three more TM3000 sizes, the IF 800/65R32 CFO, the IF 800/70R38 CFO and the IF 1050/50R32 CFO.”

He adds, “Moreover, we have extended our TM1000 High Power line, the next generation of IF tires which are capable of carrying more load at a lower pressure, making a total of seven sizes, between 30 and 42 inches, including IF 900/60R42, IF 710/75R42, IF 710/70R42, IF 650/65R34, IF 650/60R34, IF 600/70R30, IF 710/60R34.”

The company says it offers farmers and contractors solutions that decrease the use of natural resources and the overall environmental footprint, while boosting efficiency and farming productivity.
