At first, independent tire dealers were the hunter. Now they are the "huntee."

That's because when it comes to selling tires, your domination is unquestioned. And you do a pretty good job of selling light vehicle services, too!

Fifty years ago, however, mass merchandisers were doing a good job of providing a one-stop shop for the motoring public. Back then, "independent TBA dealers were being prodded to go toe-to-toe with them, even in our magazine.
