NASTF will host OEM execs during VISION

Feb. 5, 2013

The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) will host executives from Toyota, Subaru and General Motors at its meeting on March 8, 2013. The meeting is a guest event to be held during the VISION Hi-Tech Training and Expo March 7-10 in Overland Park, Kan.

“NASTF plays a unique role in the automotive industry as the contact point between independent technicians and service operation support executives inside each of the original equipment automobile manufacturers,” says Skip Potter, executive director of NASTF.

“Our general meetings provide the opportunity for shop owners, their technicians and service writers to engage, face-to-face, in productive conversations with OEM service support representatives concerning OEM service resources.”

Mark Saxonberg, service technology manager for Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc.; Kelly Geist, service engineering manager for Subaru of America Inc.; and Bob Stewart, aftermarket service support for General Motors Co. will participate in presentations and panel discussions that will make up the NASTF general meeting agenda.

Also presenting at the meeting will be Charlie Gorman, executive director of the Equipment & Tool Institute (ETI) and NASTF chair (see ETI’s Gorman will present at NASTF meeting).
