RoadHandler brand returns to Sears Auto Centers

Jan. 31, 2013

Sears Auto Center announces the return of the premium RoadHandler tire backed by a 100,000-mile warranty.

“We brought back RoadHandler tires to give our customers a safe, dependable tire at an excellent value,” says Joe Finney, senior vice president and president, Sears Automotive.

“After nearly a decade, we are excited to re-introduce the classic RoadHandler brand, exclusive to Sears.”

Sears says RoadHandler tires are:

* guaranteed - a best-in-class 100,000 mile warranty;

* durable - RoadHandler tires come with square belt edge tape technology designed to increase durability and reinforce the tire, creating long-term protection against tread separation;

* designed with weather in mind - with full-depth treads and wide circumferential grooves, RoadHandler tires are designed to have strong traction in rain and snow.

Cris Carter, pro football analyst, former all-pro wide receiver and frequent traveler, recently tested the RoadHandler tires. To view Carter’s reaction to his test drive, go to YouTube.com/SearsAuto.

In November 2012, Sears Holding Co. promoted a Black Friday sale for Michelin and BFGoodrich tires. Stay tuned to see if Sears promotes RoadHandler tires on Black Friday 2013.
