Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. has launched the Ironman RB-12, a new all-season touring tire available in 21 sizes, offering wide coverage of popular vehicles.
“We previewed the Ironman RB-12 at the SEMA show and have received a tremendous response on both the tread design and the range of fitments,” says Joshua Simpson, vice president of marketing for Hercules Tire.
The 21 T-, H-, and V-rated sizes feature rim diameters from 13 to 16 inches with traditional 55/60/65/70 series offerings.
Additionally, the Ironman RB-12 has a symmetric, five-rib tread design that creates a larger footprint for stability and performance. Slotted shoulders, moderate siping and wide grooves enhance water evacuation and prevent hydroplaning. Variable tread design reduces road noise and delivers ride comfort
“A lot of consumers are looking for an entry-level tire that offers real value,” says Simpson. “This is a tire that will help our dealers expand and enhance their product screen.”
The RB-12 joins the family of Ironman passenger and light truck tires, which includes the Ironman iMove passenger and SUV lines and the Ironman Radial A/P all-terrain tire, among others. Hercules Tire’s Ironman brand also serves the commercial market with medium truck, specialty, industrial and OTR tires.
