Federal spends quality time in the Philippines

Jan. 7, 2013

A Department of Trade and Industry official recently presented the Philippine Standard (PS) license to Federal Corp. at the Sofitel Hotel in Manila, Philippines.

He congratulated the Taiwan-based tire manufacturer and all its dedicated dealers for their enthusiasm and genuine commitment in the tire sector in the Philippines.

“Earning this important certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to quality and continuous improvement, which aligns with our strategic plan goals," said Marketing Manager Geoffrey Chang.

The honor comes on the heels of the 10th anniversary jubilee of PPC Asia Corp., a large scale tire importer and distributor based in Quezon City, Philippines. It is the exclusive distributor of Federal tires in the country.

The special event also was held at the Sofitel Hotel. It was attended by Chang, who took the opportunity to thank PPC Asia; Jerry Lai, Federal's Asia sales executive, Global Sales Division; and representatives from more than 300 of Federal dealers nationwide.

To help commemorate the anniversary, a random grand prize drawing was held. Three "stylish and modern cars," fitted with either Federal 657 or Formoza FD2 touring tires, were given away to prospective customers.

“We contribute our success to our faithful clients, dedicated associates and quality supplier-partner," said Ronnie Co, president of PPC Asia Corp.

"We could not have done it without them. Over the decade, our partnership with Federal has always built on a true reliable relationship.”
