More on the Tire Warehouse Central sale

Order Reprints

Bob Dabrowski, owner of Tire Warehouse Central Inc. in Keene, N.H., recently sold his highly successful, 46-store chain (see "Monro Muffler Brake buys Tire Warehouse Central for $34 million").

The 71-year-old Dabrowski has come a long way since his days as a machinist in a shoe factory. Why did he sell? And what does he plan to do now?

Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich had a chance to talk with Dabrowski following the deal's announcement by Monro on Sept. 24. To learn more about the deal, check out "Bob Dabrowski leaves Tire Warehouse with no regrets" on Ulrich's B.O.B. blog.
