Aug. 27, 2009

Located in Tahoe National Forest, the Fordyce Creek Trail has been designated by Michelin North America Inc. as a BFGoodrich 2009 Outstanding Trail.

Michelin chose the trail for its history, beauty and level of difficulty, according to company officials.

"Collectively, since the inception of the Outstanding Trails program in 2006, we have honored some of the most incredible off-road trails in North America," says Gary Enterline, senior product category manager, light truck tires. "The Fordyce Creek Trail meets all the requirements of the program."

The BFG Outstanding Trails program has recognized 19 off-road trails in 15 states, plu two in Canada.
