Michelin North America Inc. is displaying 10 medium truck tires on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's SmartWay list at this week's Great American Trucking Show.
The show is runs through Aug. 22 and is being held in Dallas, Texas. Tires on display include the Michelin XZA3, the Michelin X One XDA, the Michelin XTA Energy Tire, and others.
Also starting this week, Michelin tires that are on the SmartWay verified technologies list will be featured on a new "green information" feature on the tiremaker's truck tire Web site.
"Many truckers may not be aware that they can buy wear-and-traction tires and not give up fuel efficiency benefits," says Marc Laferriere, vice president of marketing, Michelin Americas Truck Tires.
