Bergey's Tire Service consolidated its two-shop retreading operation in 2007. Company executives are pleased with the results in 2008.

The Perkasie, Pa.-based retread facility features the Marangoni RINGtread System and its Ringbuilder 3000.
"It's a production manager's dream to increase production without adding direct labor cost," says Plant Manager Mike Ellinger. "Our Ringbuilder 3000... eliminates one man in my production process by combining the cushion extrusion and the Ring-building steps in the same machine."
Bergey's is based in Franconia, Pa. It is the second retreader to install the Ringbuilder 3000 in North America. Systeme De Rechapage RTS in Quebec, Canada, was the first.
Both dealerships are part of Marangoni Tread North America Inc.'s network of 26 retreaders in the United States and Canada.
