Toyo retailers kick off Memorial Day promotion

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. reports its 300-plus independent tire retailers will participate in the Toyo Tires Memorial Day Sale•A•Bration.

All participating dealers receive a Toyo Tires Memorial Day Sale•A•Bration-branded Promo-in-a-Box -- a ready-to-use, turnkey promotional kit that includes all of the marketing tools needed to host a high-profile sales event. 

Kit items include an event banner, vertical flags, giant exterior balloons, vinyl posters, banners, stack covers and Toyo Tires pennants.  Each event kit is accompanied by planning tools: a promotional planning guide, planning calendar and checklist.

“We are very pleased to have the Toyo Tires Memorial Day Sale-A-Bration supported by more than 300 independent tire dealerships nationwide,” says Steve Hutchinson, vice-president of marketing.  “This promotion, with the Promo-In-A-Box concept, gives our dealers the tools they need to create an event, generate interest, drive traffic and ultimately sell more tires.”

Many dealers are enhancing the May promotion with weekend events including free food, prize giveaways, appearances by local celebrities and on-site radio remotes with local stations, Toyo reports.

To help dealers promote this event in their local market, Toyo Tires has created Sale•A•Bration-branded ad templates and radio scripts on www.ToyoADS.com.

This online tool makes it easy for authorized dealers to create unique newspaper ads, flyers and direct mail piecesDealers can also download the new commercial, People Who Know, in a 25-second version, which leaves room for a local dealer tag.
