Myers Industries Inc. has promoted Todd Smith to managing director, Distribution Segment of Myers Industries.
Smith’s new operational responsibilities include the Myers Tire Supply Distribution, Myers Tire Supply International and Patch Rubber brands.
Smith joined Myers Industries in 2007 as plant manager of its Michigan Rubber Products (MRP) business, part of the Automotive and Custom Segment. His most recent position was director of operations for the Cadillac, Mich., (MRP) and Hannibal, Mo., (Buckhorn Rubber Products) facilities.
Before joining Myers Industries, Smith worked for 17 years at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in various managerial positions across the United States, including his last position as operations manager in Fayetteville, N.C.
