Perhaps you read about the government's "gift" of $5 billion to some automotive parts suppliers. Did you know the money isn't a load or a bailout? Did you know that General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC will administer the program?

Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich discusses the program and who qualifies for the money in his latest blog, "OE tire makers 'look at' aid from the government."
