Tire Service Equipment Mfg. Co. Inc. has introduced its automated WC-30 Heavy Duty Truck Wheel Cleaner.
The machine is designed to clean bead surface and rim flange areas on heavy-duty truck wheels ranging from 20 inches to 32 inches in diamater and up to 20 inches wide.
"The wheel is placed in a completely closed cabinet where it rotates automatically," say company officials.
"The wire brush is manually adjusted to the proper cleaning position. The operator observes the entire procedure through the viewing windows while all dust and debris is removed from the cleaning chamber by the internal 5 hp vacuum."
The complete cleaning cycle takes seven to 10 minutes.
