Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has introduced a new all-season tire for passenger cars and minivans, the Extensa A/S.
The Extensa A/S contains Toyo's Tmode Technology and is available in 19 sizes, ranging from 13 inches to 17 inches in wheel diameter. Nineteen more sizes will be added throughout the summer, say Toyo officials.
The tire contains a variety of features, including a symmetric, non-directional tread design for cross rotation and long tread life; an optimized center block arrangement for ride comfort; two full-width steel belts under a "high-modulus" polyester casing; and a high-wear cap/base tread compound.
The Extensa "delivers a great value for consumers with its combination of ride comfort and durability," says Steve Hutchinson, Toyo's vice president of marketing.
