Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations has named John Stewart plant manager at its Aiken County, S.C., factory.
Stewart replaces Mike Rose, who retired earlier this week after a 36-year career.
Stewart is an 11-year Aiken plant veteran and most recently served as operations manager at the facility, which has the capacity to produce 25,000 consumer tires daily, according to Modern Tire Dealer's 2009 Facts Issue.
