Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC (BATO) Vice President of Sales Engineering Dave Laubie will retire on Feb. 1. William Thomas, a 14-year Bridgestone veteran, will replace him.
Thomas most recently served as assistant plant manager, Bridgestone Argentina. He will report to BATO CEO and President Asahiko "Duke" Nishiyama.
Under Laubie's leadership, "Sales Engineering has established our company as one of the most responsive and responsible organizations in the rubber and tire industry," says Nishiyama.
Laubie began his career with Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in 1970. He accepted his current assignment in 2003.
