Marangoni Tread North America Inc. plans to double the capacity of its plant in Madison, Tenn., with a $20 million investment.
The investment will take place over the next three years, says a Marangoni spokesperson.
The Madison plant currently covers 50,000 square feet. Marangoni has purchased an additional 100,000 square feet, plus 12 acres near the facility.
The factory, which began production in 2004, builds Marangoni's RINGtread tread rubber. It was expanded and upgraded earlier this year.
