Eduardi Minardi will replace Jorge Gonzalez as president of Bridgestone Firestone Latin American Tire Operations. Gonzalez will retire at the end of the month.
Minardi also will replace Gonzalez in the positions of Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc. (BSAH) executive vice president and BSAH board member.
Minardi currently serves as president of Bridgestone Firestone Mexico S.A. de C.V., a BSAH subsidiary. He will be replaced in that position by Ariel Depascuali, who is the current president of Bridgestone's operations in Argentina.
Gonzalez began his career with the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. He was promoted to his current position in 2002.
Minardi has been a member of the Bridgestone Americas team since 1989.
