Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. will raise its passenger, light truck and commercial truck tire prices up to 7%, effective Feb. 1.

Specific increases will vary by tire model, say Kumho officials.

David Hudrlik, vice president and director of sales for Kumho, cites "continuing price increases for raw materials and rising transportation costs as the reasons for the increase."

Kumho most recently raised tire prices two months ago.
