Purcell Tire's new Phoenix facility is up and running

Nov. 28, 2006

Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. has completed its move into a new $4 million office/warehouse facility in Phoenix, Ariz. The new complex spans 80,000 square feet.

Features of the warehouse portion include ceilings that "give us the ability to go five pallets high," says Bill Guttery, Purcell Tire's vice president of consumer sales; a "no assembly" steel racking system that lets pickers pull tires from virtually any angle; and other amenities.

The complex also contains a meeting/training room designed to hold up to 40 people.
