St. Louis, Mo.-based Community Wholesale Tire has opened its new location, a 185,000-square-foot warehouse and office facility, in Hazelwood, Mo.

"This move and the move of our Kansas City, Mo., warehouse earlier in 2006 to a 160,000-square-foot warehouse will enable Community Wholesale Tire to expand (our) product offering and improve service to dealers," say Community Wholesale Tire officials.

Community Wholesale Tire was founded by Mike Berra in 1935 and had been actively engaged in wholesale tire distribution since 1960.

The company distributes numerous major and private brand tire lines and operates a delivery fleet of 36 trucks serving dealers in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa and Kansas.
