Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. officials have told moderntiredealer.com that its parent company is building a third tire manufacturing plant in China.
The factory is scheduled to open in 2008 and will have an initial production capacity of three to five million tires, says Rick Brennan, director of brand management for Kumho Tire U.S.A.
Kumho's second factory in China began production four months ago.
