SEMA Show, Day One: BFNT to streamline associate brand line-up

Order Reprints

Earlier today at its dealer meeting in Las Vegas, Nev., Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) announced it will drop two associate brands, Road King and Duralon, by the end of the year.

However, BFNT will continue to sell the Lemans, Dayton, Gillette and Peerless brands.

"Our associate brands are support brands for the Bridgestone and Firestone brands," says Tim Dunn, director of marketing operations and supply chain management for BFNT. "They will never be stand-alone brands."
