Tire curing process manager named at Cooper Tire

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Wayne Pneuman as manager of curing, bladders and the global materials sourcing group.

He will be responsible for the technical aspects of the tire curing process both domestically and internationally as well as the technical approval and control of raw materials on a global basis.

A Cooper employee since 1978, Pneuman previously worked as a research and factory chemist and has performed several technical management positions as chief chemist at the Findlay, Ohio, plant.

He also was composite materials development manager and, most recently, chief chemist at Cooper Tire’s Melksham, England, facility.
