Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC's (BFNT) Aiken, S.C., plant is using clean-energy forklifts to transport tires and other items.
BFNT officials, working with the Economic Development Partnership of South Carolina, unveiled a new “green-powered” forklift fleet at the factory earlier today, March 31.
The new forklifts, which use hydrogen fuel cells, will replace tradional battery-powered forklifts used at the facility.
