All American Tire to give profits to kids' charity

Aug. 24, 2006

Garnerville, Nev.-based All American Tire & Automotive will donate 75% of the profits it generates Aug. 30-31 to charity.

Money will be given to Austin's House, a center in Carson Valley, Nev., that acts as a foster home and safe haven for children.

The facility is operated by the Austin Kirby Foundation, which was formed after the sudden death of its 15-year-old namesake, who suffered from epilepsy.

"This is a way for us to raise awareness and funds for a wonderful organization," says All American Tire owner John Christl.
